Job Summary

  • Learns to assemble electronics according to product specifications.
  • Follows Visual Aids to put together Mechanical and Electronic devices.
  • Using hand and power tools and other assembly equipment.
  • Utilize quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured.
  • Maintains a clean, neat and orderly area.
  • Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/ SCOPE

Interfaces: Inter-company personnel

People ManagedNone

Decisions

  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions

of the job.

  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Works under immediate supervision.

KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS

  • Learns knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

  • Set up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Reads and interprets Visual Aids and diagrams to select position and secure machinery.
  • Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.
  • Utilize quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured.
  • Inspect components to ensure that the machines placed the correct value part in the appropriate location.
  • Maintains a clean, neat and orderly area.
  • Responsible for the quality and accuracy of own work.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/ SCOPE

Interfaces: Inter-company personnel

People ManagedNone

DecisionsRelies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

  • Performs a variety of tasks.
  • Works under general supervision.

  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

  • Follow written processes and/or rework instructions to complete product through the soldering stage of manufacturing.
  • Performs a variety of tasks.

  • Formal or on the job training for specific soldering duties.
  • Able to understand and perform specific requirements and inspect to IPC-610 workmanship requirements
  • May perform training and lead and direct the work of others
